• Visit your state website and click on the link for doing business in the state.
• Find and review all of the permit and licensing requirements for your business.

• Decide on your business structure ie corporation, llc, sole proprietorship and either meet with an attorney or file for the appropriate documents yourself.

• Get the capital your business needs by applying for a small business loan.

• Set up your business website.

• Get yourself connected on at least one major social networking site such as Twitter or Facebook.

• Order business cards and other marketing materials.
